I get on the elevator this morning and a lady says to me, “How’s the little one doing?” I say good. She says, “How old is she now?” I say 9 months. She says, “Awwww, ya, babies don’t stay babies for very long. Just wait until she’s 11 – that’s when girls get fun.” WTF? I’m having a hard enough time thinking about my baby turning 1 and she wants me to think about when she turns 11??? Who says these things? And again with the ‘just wait’ or ‘just you wait’ comments. Make it stop! Ahhhh!
Anyway – Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Years and years ago I would be going out drinking at some point today, but now? Nope. I’ll be hanging out at home with my family and that feels awesome to say! We already had our corned beef and cabbage a week and a half ago. Tonight we’re having pizza! To those that are brave/dumb enough to go out today/tonight – be safe!
