This week starts with Valentine’s Day! I happen to love Valentine’s Day and I’m super excited for when the kiddos are old enough to get into making Valentine’s and doing fun crafts with them. I’m sure I’ll eat my words some day, but for now – that’s how I feel. Last year we started a new family tradition: Homemade Heart Shaped Pizza with Pink Rice Krispie Treats! So I was determined to do the same thing this year, but take it even further. So I went out and bought a heart shaped pan so I could make my Rice Krispie Treats heart shaped too! Well, Leilani’s schedule was totally off and her nap was non-existant so we ended up at the grocery store a lot later than planned. So much for making homemade pizza dough! And then mommy/pregnancy brain settled in and I forgot a few things and my husband had to go back to the grocery store and then it was a rush to get the monster fed because she was rip roaring hungry! So we did some individual pita pizzas, not cut into hearts, and I quickly made the Rice Krispie Treats while my husband started feeding her. And then after I poured in the Rice Krispies…I realized I forgot to add the food coloring so we ended up with a big heart shaped plain, no color, pan of Rice Krispie Treats. Ugh. Someday it’ll get better and my brain will come back to me right? LOL.

Monday – Crockpot Chicken in Gravy over Rice with Veg
Tuesday – Smoked Sausage & Cheesy Orzo Bake – I’m substituting Rotelle noodles for the Orzo so it’s easier for Leilani to grab onto

Friday – Low-Key Hamburger Helper night (aka Daddy’s night to cook)
