I don’t mean to be harsh but….scratch that, yes I do. Seriously people. If you are sick, STAY HOME. No, really, I’m not even kidding. I’m not sure people understand what happens when you come to work sick and you ‘think you’re ok’ but really you’re not. When you’re sitting in your cubicle coughing and […]
Coming off ANOTHER PACKER WIN!!! If you can’t tell, we’re big Packer fans in this house! I even made an amazing dinner during the game of Pork Tenderloin, Brussel Sprouts and Garlic Potatoes! It was amazing and it was all on 1 pan! I’ll have to write up a recipe for that, because we will […]
What a day! Waking up after a big Packer win. You know what that means? I didn’t make it to the grocery store like I should have yesterday. I guess I’ll have to go sometime during the week. And there’s a good chance I just won’t go and then I won’t be able to make […]
We just set up an awesome playroom for the kids. They love it and we love it. Today however, I am living a shitty nightmare. Shit. Everywhere.
I hope you had a great Christmas! It’s been a while. Lots has been going on in our little world and I’ll post again about that later but for now, here is the menu plan for the week. I’m so excited to actually have a plan!!! Monday – Leftovers Tuesday – Crockpot Chicken & Gravy […]
I promise that I have been meal planning, I just haven’t been posting. I thought I did last week, but obviously did not. I can’t tell these days whether I’m coming or going. We are currently selling our house and trying to buy our forever home and be moved out in a few weeks! Craziness […]
Over the weekend we had company and we made a giant pot of chili that tasted delicious with the perfect fall weather and the Cubs win to advance them to the World Series! (I can’t believe I am excited about that, but seeing my husband, the die-hard Cubs fan, super happy, definitely makes me happy). […]
I made a big batch of Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup yesterday that was delicious! I love fall and making soups every Sunday. Only…yesterday was over 70 degrees and muggy! Thankfully I made the soup in the crockpot 🙂 I really don’t care what the weather is like, I could eat soup every day. […]
Did you know that soy sauce is made from water, soybeans, wheat and salt? WHEAT. I, in my many, many years of consuming soy sauce had NO idea. I received these sauces that were Gluten Free, and I understand what gluten is, but I never really put this together with soy sauce.
My husband is starting a new job this week and has hours that are quite a bit different than before. He’ll be working later and therefore getting home right around the time we were normally eating. I’m really nervous about having to pick up the kids and get dinner ready by the time he gets […]
