I got this recipe from my sister’s Mother-in-law, who is basically family to me. Every year over Labor Day weekend she makes these and I eat like 4 piles of it because I love it so much. It’s tangy, crunchy and the perfect side for a hot sunny day!
Ingredients
- 7 cups sliced pickles (use pickling cucumbers and slice with a mandolin)
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp celery seed
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 cups Sugar

Instructions
- Mix ingredients (except for pickles and onions) and add to sliced pickles/onions. Refrigerate and enjoy! (DO NOT BOIL!)
