Strawberry Freezer Jam (Sugar Free) – Recipe

I had to share this recipe for a few reasons. I need to put this somewhere I can find it again and also because I’ve had a few friends ask for it. This was way easier than I thought it would be! And I love that this is sugar free and I don’t feel bad for giving it to my 1 year old! We add a little to her oatmeal, her yogurt or on a piece of bread for a quick snack. She loves it just as much as we do!

Instructions
  1. Puree your strawberries - you can mash them if you'd like. I put mine in my food processor and pulsed until I got the consistency I was looking for, which was a little chunky.
  2. Pour strawberry puree into a bowl.
  3. Pour your apple juice in a saucepan and whisk in the Sure Jell. Bring to a boil for a minute or two.
  4. Pour apple juice/Sure Jell combination into the strawberry puree and stir it for a minute or two.
  5. Put into freezer containers and let sit in the refrigerator overnight to set. (I used the Ball freezer containers).
  6. Move to the freezer.
