Beachfront Baby Ring Sling Product Review

beachfront2I received product in exchange for sharing my personal opinion with you and was not financially compensated. My opinions are 100% my own. Full disclosure here.

I want to start by saying that I may or may not have a problem. As in, I may have an obsession with baby carriers. With that being said, I’ve always been super intimidated by ring slings and wraps. For some reason, they are scary to me. Before Landon was born, I tried a ring sling with Leilani and I couldn’t make it work. It was as if I couldn’t get it to fit right, or the fabric would bunch up too much, I don’t know. Either way, I thought for sure I would never own a ring sling and would always hate them.

WRONG.

I received a Beachfront Baby Ring Sling to try out in a beautiful and bold Tropical Punch color. There are tons of amazing colors to choose from – 12 to be exact! (12=tons in my head apparently). The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it was and that it doesn’t take up much room. It would be so easy to throw in a diaper bag or in the car (or in a cute little mesh bag you can buy for $5.99 on their website!). It’s made of performance athletic mesh, so it’s breathable and nice and stretchy. So I took it out of the packaging and noticed that there was a little booklet with instructions on how to use it. The nice part was that there were actually pictures! So I grabbed my baby and started going through each step and wouldn’t you know, I had my baby in a ring sling in no time at all! Better yet? This ring sling was filled with sleepy dust and he was out in less than 5 minutes! It was easier to put on and tighten up than any other ring sling I’ve tried because of the material.

What’s another benefit to this ring sling? Oh ya, it can go in the water! So not only can I take the kids in the pool, the lake, etc., I can take it in the shower too. One of my fears, ok I wouldn’t call it a fear, more like a ‘worry’ of mine, is when we go camping. Who takes which kid in the shower with them and how do you hold them and get them cleaned up without touching anything? Because let’s face it…I am a bit of a germaphobe. This is the perfect solution! I have yet to try it out in water because ew…I just had a baby and don’t want to squeeze into a bathing suit, but I can’t wait for our first water experience!

Here are some awesome reasons you should get this ring sling:
