Holy crap – my baby starts school tomorrow!!! I’m excited and anxious and I doubt I’ll be able to sleep tonight. Why is this so hard??? Our weeks are going to get crazier and crazier and I definitely need to start planning better again. We decided to start a tradition of going out to dinner on the first day of school! Maybe that will change as the kids get older and they can request their favorites, but for now, this is what we are going to do. I think I’m more excited than anyone else…hello? No cooking or cleaning? I’m in. I picked Carrabba’s for two reasons. 1. Leilani LOVES spaghetti and 2. They have this amazing salmon dish that I dream about! Also, I checked out a new store by us called Fresh Thyme and found some center cut pork chops for super cheap that I’ll be making this week (and some extras to throw in the freezer)! I’m going to have to keep an eye on their deals.
Monday – Carrabba’s Italian
Tuesday – Pork Chops with Rice and Zucchini Boats (<–zucchini cut in half and topped with cherry tomatoes, basil, parmesan cheese, salt & pepper and put in the oven)
Wednesday – Mac N Cheese and Turkey Kielbasa
Thursday – Fish Tacos
Friday – Spaghetti
