Happy Labor Day! I hope you are enjoying time off and spending some good quality time with your family! It’s been crazy and super busy in our house and I haven’t always been meal planning but I am determined to get back on track so that we have a plan now that school is starting and we will have a totally different schedule. This week, Leilani starts a new daycare and next week she starts school! Dear Lord help us all! I’m going to be a hot mess that day. I’m sure I’ll write a blog post about it and try not to cry through it. With her going to a new daycare this week and having a totally different schedule, I wanted to plan some quick and easy meals and also some crockpot meals so we spend less time on making dinner and more time as a family. Here it is.
Monday – Chili with all of the yummy toppings, sliced jalepenos, sour cream and shredded cheese
Tuesday – Baked Potatoes with delicious toppings. Chili from the night before, sour cream, shredded cheese, broccoli – LOADED Baked Potatoes, ya!
Wednesday – Leftovers
Thursday – Chicken Nuggets, Cheddar Broccoli Rice and Beans <– easy night!
Friday – BBQ Chicken Sandwiches (we are trying a new recipe for the chicken) with Oil & Vinegar Slaw. Pasta Salad and Chips as sides. My parents are coming into town so this will be a great meal 🙂
Saturday – TBD since my parents will be here all weekend!
