Strawberry Freezer Jam (Sugar Free) – Recipe

I had to share this recipe for a few reasons. I need to put this somewhere I can find it again and also because I’ve had a few friends ask for it. This was way easier than I thought it would be! And I love that this is sugar free and I don’t feel bad for giving it to my 1 year old! We add a little to her oatmeal, her yogurt or on a piece of bread for a quick snack. She loves it just as much as we do!

Instructions

  1. Puree your strawberries – you can mash them if you'd like. I put mine in my food processor and pulsed until I got the consistency I was looking for, which was a little chunky.
  2. Pour strawberry puree into a bowl.
  3. Pour your apple juice in a saucepan and whisk in the Sure Jell. Bring to a boil for a minute or two.
  4. Pour apple juice/Sure Jell mixture into the strawberry puree and stir it for a minute or two.
  5. Put into freezer containers and let sit in the refrigerator overnight to set. (I used the Ball freezer containers).
  6. Move to the freezer and take one out whenever you need one.
